With the Sundance Film Festival just a short 3 days away (1/20-30) there has been quite a buzz lately surrounding the uniquely titled comedy, “Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same,” which will be premiering there on 1/24. Eagerly anticipating writer/director Madeleine Olnek’s first feature-length project we caught up with the busy and successful filmmaker and playwright to talk about being a part of “the most LGBT-friendly mainstream festival,” “living truthfully under imaginary circumstances,” and, of course, lesbian space aliens.
